I will not refer to Romanticism--> only looking particularly at Friedrich's paintin(s).
because for example: the Romantic movement would encourage individualism and desire(s), which the Islamic State does not.

Heroization of the mujahideen (+ comparison to USSR heroic visuals)-->
- no attempt to reveal physical fitness of the fighter.
- the focus is on the merging of the mujahid and the machine gun.

Body posture
- straight posture with legs spread suggesting strenght, fearlessness, and readiness to encounter the enemy
- shooting positions: suggesting proof of action of putting one's life in danger for the greater cause of the Islamic State and the divine cause of fighter forthe Muslim Ummah and the Caliphate.
- Looking away into the distance

- Tawhid finger (finger pointing upwards)
- Weapon pointing upwards

(compare to hand gesttures of the USSR's visuals, Nazi salute, V sign (peace sign), power fist used as a salute to express unity, strength, or resistance
